Miramar, Florida – April 13, 2018 – On Sunday, April 15, 2018 the President of the Republic of Haiti, His Excellency Jovenel Moise will be arriving in South Florida where his first stop will be at the Miramar Cultural Center to share his vision and progress in Haiti with the Diaspora.

“One thing that has been important for this administration is to share the advancements Haiti has made with the Diaspora and Haitian-Americans in the states, to make sure that they stay connected as the children of Haiti,” says Consul, Chief of Mission for the Republic of Haiti in Miami, Stephane Gilles.

Scheduled for 6:30pm this Sunday, the Miramar Cultural Center’s doors will open to the public as a first come first serve event. Doors will close once the venue is at capacity. The community is encouraged to come early and enjoy the “Yon Lane Pouvwa, Yon Lane Travay,” translated “One Year in Power, One Year of Work,” presentation the President is excited to share.

Touching upon subjects such as agriculture, infrastructure, safety and public service, the presentation gives a first-hand look at the evolution happening in Haiti since the President took office.

The rendezvous stands for this Sunday, April 15, 2018 promptly at 6:30pm at the Miramar Cultural Center – 2400 Civic Center Place Miramar, Fl. 33025. This event will last until 9pm and everyone is encouraged to come early to secure a seat and enjoy a few moments with President Jovenel Moise.
